Prehearing Order

Respondent 6

At a prehearing held on October 20, 2025 and on hearing Marsha Down, counsel for the Law Society, and Joven Narwal, KC, counsel for the Respondent, the motions adjudicator orders that: 

1. Within seven days of the date of this order, the Respondent will identify proposed dates for an eight-day hearing of this matter to be scheduled to commence between December 12, 2025 and April 2, 2026. 
2. If the Respondent does not identify hearing dates as required, the parties will schedule a further pre-hearing conference to occur before November 21, 2025.
3. Subject to counsel's availability, the parties will schedule and attend a further pre-hearing conference at least 30 days before the commencement of the hearing.
4. Except for any pre-hearing motions relating to testimonial accommodations for the Respondent or the Respondent's witnesses, the Respondent will file all pre-hearing motions on or before November 5, 2025. The Respondent will file any motions relating to testimonial accommodations on or before November 21, 2025.
5. The Law Society will file all pre-hearing motions, including any relating to testimonial accommodations, on or before November 21, 2025.
6. The parties must obtain leave of the hearing panel to file any pre-hearing motions after the deadlines set out above.
